Are You Excited To Dress Your Baby Boy Up For Easter?
I know I am! When I was growing up my parent's bought us girls an Easter dress every year, something we always looked forward to. I don't have any daughters, but I am very excited to dress my 1 year old son up this year. I am working on a scrapbook for him, so I love finding him cute new outfits and taking pictures for it!
I can't wait until Easter, it is going to be so much fun- and my son will be able to hunt for Easter eggs this year too! I have been looking around to see what kind of Easter clothes are out there for baby boys, and WOW there are just so many great things to choose from. I'd have to say my favorite was this adorable blue bunny costume, but I have found so many great things it's hard to choose. Below are some of the best baby boy Easter outfits I could find, enjoy!

Easter Costumes
I love them all, it's so hard to choose. I want to get my son the Blue Bunny, but they are all so adorable I can't decide! I'm expecting another baby boy in April, and if I'm thinking correctly this baby might fit into the Easter costume I buy for my 1 year old, next year.
If so I would love to get pictures of them a year apart, each in the same outfit- I think it would be cute. I'm thinking "Easter Brothers" and a 2014 Easter picture of my oldest, then a 2015 Easter picture with the new baby in it. What do you think?
Also, other sizes are available, just because it says (6-12, or 12-18 months) I looked and you can get most of these in different sizes!
Easter Outfits
Whether you are going to an Easter Egg hunt, church party, or taking some fun Easter pictures of your own, these are all great outfits (especially the vintage ones, I love those).
Fun Easter Baby Photography Idea for $4.00
That's right, this whole set up cost me a whopping $4.00! This is one of the Easter pictures I did for my son last year, he was only a few months old. I love how they turned out, and now he will have great memories to share with his family someday of his first Easter. I wanted to share this with you, so that when you get your own cute little outfit you will have a cheap and thrifty way to take some great baby photos of your own!
If you would like to create your own adorable Easter photos on a budget, this is the How To for you. If you have a Dollar Tree or Dollar City in your area, you can create photos just like these for only $4.00. If you don't have one in your area, no worries- these same props can be found very cheap at other stores as well.
You see, it doesn't take a lot to create amazing photos- you just need to think outside the box. I know last year my son was only a few months old so you can imagine how tight our budget was after getting everything we needed for a new baby, not to mention moving into a new place.
I really wanted to get some great Easter photos, but I didn't have a lot of money to spend. So I went to my local Dollar Tree and started thinking. One thing that you want for any good photo is a good background. This is why I love using colorful plastic tablecloths! For just $4.00 I got this bright yellow plastic tablecloth, a bag of plastic Easter eggs, a cute bunny ear headband, and a string of Easter themed garland. All for $1.00 each, and look how great my photo came out!
Materials:
- A plastic yellow table cloth (or other color of your choice)
- Plastic Easter eggs
- Easter garland string
- Bunny Ears Headband
Tools:
- Imagination
- Camera
- Happy Baby
Instructions:
1. First you will want to lay your plastic table cloth on the floor
2. Next arrange your plastic Easter eggs on the table cloth
3. Wrap your garland around how you see fit, for decoration.
4. You will want to have your camera ready because babies tend to wiggle and get tired easily. Lay your baby on the table cloth, and hand him/her a plastic egg to play with to keep them entertained while you get ready to take the picture.
5. Right before you take your picture put the bunny ears on the baby, and get ready to take the photo fast (these won't stay on long). Don't get frustrated, it might take a while to get a good shot, but that's just how it is with baby photos. If your baby is too restless for a photo, get down with them and play for a little bit then try again!
Do you do your own photography, or take your babies to professionals?
